So im about halfway through season 2 and...

Oh my goodness they are so annoying. They are too nosy and damn dramatic. I mean they're always crying, every little thing.

ESPECIALLY Adam and Kristina. She is always crying. Like if you're gonna cry every time your teenage daughter disagrees with you you're gonna run out of tears... And everything is so the end of the world for them like grow up you can't control everything your children do god damn. Like Hattie's first boyfriend, how they were freaking out because he said the word "yo" on his answering machine. They called him yo-yo like wtf?

I'm watching this show because it was so critically acclaimed (and because of Lauren Graham!!) and I'm trying to really get into it but these people are making it so hard.
"Hey, what is this show about?"
"Oh, just people stressing about *beep*

...someone please tell me they get less annoying or I'm not gonna make it through season 3

I think if you're at this point, by season 2 you'll hate the rest of it. I love the show and am oddly at around the same place you are in season 2 but I'm rewatching it for the 3rd time. If you find season 2 as melodramatic, you'll really hate it around season 4 I think because there's a cancer diagnosis that basically drives that season. It took me a little while just to watch Graham in the show and not keep thinking of Lorelei..

I'm halfway through season two on Netflix, too. I love it. The acting and writing are very good, and the SL's ring true to life about the drama and struggles that exist in mamy familes and relationships. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series.

I think Adam and Kristina become way more tolerable in later seasons as parents. Amber was the one who annoyed me the most with being over dramatic.

I think I was in season 3. The.annoying crying daughter of the annoying crying mothe was dating alcoholic Michael B. Jordan and she was forbade to see him which of course caused tears all around
