Your favorite/least favorite characters

Favorite: Crosby. He is played by a very interesting and likeable actor, and I love the story arc for his character so far (I am in the middle of season 5). He really does slowly grow up a little more each season as he is confronted suddenly with being a father, and then learning to love and be faithful to Jasmine, and ultimately take on adult responsibilities as a husband.

Second Favorite, Hank. I love how he doesn't sugarcoat anything. Such a great curmudgeon.

Least Favorite: Sarah. Seems to either hook up with or fall for every man that comes into her life. Whenever she has a new boss, it's safe to bet he's her next boyfriend. But really, the thing that irks me the most about Sarah is how she just flits from career to career and never really develops her potential. First she's the new star of the marketing team at Adam's company, then she discovers an amazing talent as a playwright and within a few months her first play (directed by a famous muckety-muck no less) opens to rave reviews. But then she just drops writing altogether and takes up her next career as a photographer; whaddaya know, she's great at that, too! Jeez, opportunities just drop into her lap all the time and Sarah is always a natural.

Honorable Mentions go to Victor and Sidney, as they are nearly as annoying as Sarah, but more along the line of brattiness.

Favorite: Zeke, hands down. He loves his family, but will not be afraid to put a boot up their ass if they *beep* up. He'll also go to bat for his family if they're attacked like at Jabar's b-day and Jasmine's family were crucifying Crosby and Zeke called them out on their *beep*

Second Favorite: Amber. She really has developed from a semi-rebellious teen to a responsible young woman, and she learned to take responsibility for her actions.

Least Favorite: Adam and Kristina. Worst parents ever. They constantly spoil and cater to Max's demands, they don't set any boundaries for him and pretty much let him do whatever he wants. Whenever somebody criticizes Max, Adam and Kristina act high and mighty and try to reverse the blame on them. They have no sense of responsibility whatsoever.

Drew - Just a mopey, boring pussy.

Sydney - She went from cute, adorable, and likable to being a nasty, snotty, litte *beep*

Most Hated: Max. Nuff said.

Least favorite is Jasmine and really the only person I disliked.

I blame Sydney's bad behavior on her parents. It killed me when her mistreatment of Victor never seemed to be noticed by her parents.

But I really don't have a favorite. Confused by the hate for Sarah and Kristina. They along with Camille are probably some of my favorites. I thought Kristina was a great mother.

Favorites:
Crosby: always funny without trying to be (and when trying to be, even), charming, ambitious, just over all likeable and I think probably one of the most relatable characters on the show. You just always seem to be rooting for him.

I also really enjoyed Julia and Joel's storyline. It seemed to be so real.. with the exception of some things from Season 6, haha. Joel had his douche moments that's for damn sure. But when he was a good husband, boy was he good. I was always rooting for them as a couple as well.

Amber: very intriguing character in my opinion. Loved her sarcasm, her personality developed so much throughout the seasons and it was fun to watch her grow and learn lessons. Same with Drew, he changed SO much from season 1 to 6, in a great way.

Least Favorites:

I know I know I'm a terrible person for saying Max. I get it, he had a disability. But come on, he was annoying. I felt myself losing patience just by watching him. Partly because, like someone else on this thread pointed out, I felt Adam and Kristina let him run the show, never really did anything to teach him discipline or consequences for his actions and he always just did whatever he wanted and got away with it. And Kristina cried too much.

Haddie had her annoying moments but hey, she was a teenage girl, we all were like that at one point or another. Same goes for Sydney, her bratiness was just a reflection of her situation at home, whether it was good or bad. (Like the earlier season when Joel and Julia realized they may have spoiled her)

Jasmine DEFINITELY had her dislikeable moments.

Sarah was in the middle for me. I loved her witty sarcasm, and thought she did her absolute best to be a great mom and for the most part she was, her kids always came to her when they needed her. But at the same time, she was kind of a trainwreck.

Favorite: Adam, Zeke and Max

Least favorite: Christina (too much crying), Jasmine & Camille.

Honorable Mention goes to Jasmine's mom, Renee. She's not in a lot of scenes, but when she is its her way or no way.

I hate Adam & Kristina more than anyone. They acted so high and mighty, acted like they were better parents than anyone else, and got into everyone else's business. Like the time *spoiler alert* Amber got involved with Bob Little, and prude Kristina had to run to Sarah about it and make a big deal. Hello, she was 18 and he was single, what's the big deal?! I have to stop there, I could write a novel about my hate for them!!

Jasmine is the runner-up, only because she is so controlling of Crosby. I generally like her, though.

My favorites are hard to choose. I'm partial to Sarah because I'm a huge Gilmore Girl fan, and I live Amber's individuality.
