Is the movie any good? No.
I really hate to say this, but unfortunately this is the sort of movie that gives small independent films a bad reputation.
The concept was so so. The writing was weak. The acting was just bad. This is exactly the sort of movie that encourages people to download rather than spend their hard earned money on a theater ticket or DVD purchase.
For what it is worth, just to be as fair as possible, perhaps I am so negative on the movie because I expected more going in.
From a few things I've seen on-line, Douglas Elford-Argent sounds like a nice enough guy. Let's hope that this movie was not his best work and that we will see better from him in future.

The movie is called "The Brazen Bull". Curiously, the movie never explains the historical meaning of the term.
The brazen bull, bronze bull, or the Sicilian bull is a torture and execution device designed in ancient Greece.
Strange to name a movie after a torture device; though in this case it might be argued as being somewhat appropriate.

Severe legal penalties?? What is this, do you think the FBI actually enforce their anti-piracy laws to common folks, who only downloads movies or anything for their own entertainment and do not benefit off of it commercially?

oh sorry for the late reply guys, u guys can call me whatever u like I dont mind.
Turned out this movie was so bad i forgot about it in after 7 seconds after closing vlc player, and all my actions associated with it including this thread on imdb that i rediscovered by chance browsing imdb.
I Fast forwarded massive chunks anyway thats how bad it was.
I'm proud to give this movie my official to bad to even pirate award!!
For your own well being avoid this movie and everything with michael madsen in it like the black plague!!
ps. im not taking any money away from this film trust me lol.
Its not like I EVER in a 1000 years was planning on seeing this in the cinema or buying the movie on dvd( where its probably bound 1st if their lucky ).
