About Isabel's husband, Mr. Green... (SPOILERS AHEAD)

Since it's shown he's MIA, did he leave the battlefield with leave or is he AWOL?

MIA is missing in action, which means you're still active in the service, they just can't find you whether you're dead or alive.

AWOL means absent without leave. You're alive. You've left without permission.

The husband was MIA.

reply

But what if he's missing because he left without leave?

He appeared to be an honorable man. I don't think that's the way they wanted to story to go.

reply

He was clearly injured upon his return. So it is possible he went MIA in a battle, found by some medics in another unit and sent him to a hospital to heal while his name and info that he was WIA, wounded-in-action, failed to get back to HQ.

No, no, it's not Apollo 11. That would be silly. It's Neil Armstrong's foot.

reply

It's all plausable. Leave it up to the imagination I guess.

reply

And it all happened in about 2 hours... Oh how I didn't like this movie..........
