SPOILER ALERT
The male lead(David) ends up believing in Jesus but his wife and friends still dissappear he then realises its not enough just to believe but to completely surrender your life to Jesus(I can't remeber who but I think its his cop buddy who tells him even Satan "believes" in Jesus) He does so then wakes up again only this time his wifes clothes are all different and everything that has happened in his vision is mostly very different. He says a salvation prayer with his cop buddy then he and his wife go to the beach anyway.
David then rings his boss to warn him not to take "the mark" but his boss doesn't understand. He then throws the phone away and there is a flash of light like in his dreams and one can assume he and his wife dissapear to heaven as part of the rapture.
It then flashes to his work where is boss hears cars crashing outside and immediate chaos and realises David knew this was gonna happen
A bible verse comes on screen about no one knowing the day or the hour
Roll credits
One thing I didn't like about this movie even though they show that verse in the bible about no one knowing the day or the hour of Christs return the movie portrays a man being told through a vision of God exactly when this will be. Now I appreciate that its just a movie a work of fiction based on what many people(myself included) believe to be true but it still bothers me a bit. It may have been better if the rapture in the timeline of this movie was some way away in the future and not exactly when his vision said it would it be. That at least would respect the biblical account of Christs return
