This is worse than those movies made for Sci Fi (SyFy?) At least they are fun. If you are going to make a weather disaster movie, have the guts to bring on the weather. We only see some rain, and some poor special effects. The rest is some silliness about a cover-up where a bunch of evil people are killing everyone connected with James Van Der Beek's character to keep the secret.

No kidding; I got up to the part where John Larroquette's character got killed off and then I had to stop watching. I tuned in to watch a terrible DISASTER movie, not the drama-of-the-week cheesefest.

When the pregnant bitch and her father were down in the basement, boy did her water break. She's screaming, Papa is screaming, what a hoot! The lack of any possibility of science was amazing. This mini series could have been condensed into a 30 minute sit com. NBC, do you know why you are last?

Special effects are not very good, especially the energy beams cast out by the antennas, and the story is not very original but is not among the worst movies anyway. On the other hand it could have been made a little bit shorter.
Yup. Pretty bad. This was the only film I have seen that I was hoping that everyone in the film would die. That way, the movie would be over. I think even the actors would have preferred a good death scene over continuing to act.
