File alarm went off, help me about the ending!

So I was watching this movie today at fantasia festival and all of the sudden, a alarm went off and we had to leave. We were at the scene where the main caractor get shot by the cops after he try to escape while his friends was doing some «kaboom» diversion (sorry, my english is not good). Than, we saw the ending 20min later but I though that a couple of things were missing. The last scene I remember was a cops telling another cops «Is this the real dude or not?» (but the dude seem to no longer be in the water). Than 20min later went we saw the ending, the main caractor was running in the tunnel and their were flashback about his friends telling him what to do.

My question is, how did he survive the gun shot by the cops? And what happen between the moment the other cops said «Is this the real one or not?» and when the main caractor was running in the tunnel while we got some flashback as I just mention.

second question: when the chief of police asked the japanese FBI dude if he was real or not, the japanese FBI looked at him dubiously. it was just a long, profound look that answered the chief's question, then the chief walked away, disturbed or something to that extent. implying he wasn't the real perpetrator.

first question: the hero's ipod.

i guess they were implying it didn't matter whether they caught him or not, since they could just kill the double, which they did at the end. thats the body they discover later on.
