I think Harrison Ford is a weak actor.

He's as charismatic as a dog turd on a wedding cake these days. It's been that way for a long time. He's lost all that cocky swagger he used to have in his youth. And while everyone ages differently I point the reader to Al Pacino who still has a massive amount of energy and charisma even at his age. I mean it's not like Harrison never had it to begin with. I dunno, I just don't really enjoy much of anything if he is in it. [Edit] Bruce Willis, Eric Roberts, Dolf Lundgren... all aging and all still full of fight.

I disagree. He's brilliant in 42, lost none of his swagger as Indy in Crystal Skull and is obviously having fun in Expendables and Anchorman 2. He's not picked the best movies the last ten years but is embracing more character roles, which is great to see.

I think you make a good point, fluffchop. For most of his career I've been willing to watch anything he was in simply because he was in it, but in recent years he really just seems to be coasting and (sadly) doesn't provide much entertainment of his own. I respect his age and that it's his choice what roles he takes, but the thing is he doesn't seem to have much fire in his blood when he's not being physical, and his line delivery is much the same for every character. It seems a sad state for one of the great screen icons to find himself in.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

You obviously haven't seen much of his work then
