Thanks! I guess it was not searchable because of the hyphens. It's a shame because I don't know how anyone would find it.
I got to see it, although I had to go to the second screening and Ezra Miller wasn't there. I don't know why but he was definitely missed by the audience.
I did ask a question in the Q&A and spoke with the director for a bit afterward. I'll be writing more about the movie when I can. -----------------------------
You'll only be able to see it if it gets picked up for distribution, which is more likely to happen if people like me come here and post the kinds of posts I just put up.
This was the world premiere. Nobody had ever seen it before this, including distributors. Assuming there are acquisition people attending the screenings this week, a deal would have to be made and the film picked up for distribution before there would be a chance for you or anyone else to see it in theaters.
Distributor interest in a film also is greatly dependent on public reaction, including posts on IMDb. If distributors come to the film's board and see nothing here at all, or any reaction to the screenings, it is an indication to them of a lack of interest by the public and the film is less likely to be seen by you. The best way to help a film get picked up is to come here and post "I'm going to see it" and/or "I saw it and liked it" afterward.
No, you have to thank all the people who go to film festivals and write about the films they liked for helping distributors determine interest in these films.
So you are saying you want to see it, which might only happen if people write about it, then in the same breath you attack those same people who write about it because their interest may help get it distributed?
So you only want people to write about films that YOU will end up liking, and you don't want people to write about films that you may end up NOT liking.
You: "I want to see this film, so please write about it. But don't write about it, because I may not like it, so I don't want to see it."
"I'm hungry and want to eat that sandwich you have in your hand. But you're an a-hole for telling me you have a sandwich I can eat. I'd rather go hungry until a sandwich mysteriously falls from the sky."
Don't bother yourself with this opinionated bigot, larry-411. He's a complete ass, as if his responses weren't already enough to prove it. As you see, even simple logic has confused him, which he'll undoubtedly act like he was only joking about.
Now, c'mon Ryan. One more, cute little two-line retort? Please? They're so... so...
You should acquaint yourself with Webster's as you're obviously not too smart. Meantime, stick with using single syllable words of four letters or fewer and you should be more successful with your mediocre communication skills.
