Annoying Detectives

This show isn't bad, except for the fact that every time I see Detective Mannina (formerly Minka), Sgt. Breedlove, or Detective Tudor, I start to cringe with how annoying each of them truly are. They seem to be hamming it up for the camera - acting all cutesy, thinking they're entertaining the audience, when in reality they come off looking like stereotypical, power trip hungry, egotistical, law enforcement douchebags. It's like they're trying too hard to be cool or something. Those three suck, but the others are alright.

Also, as Ken Spiker correctly wrote in his fine "User Review" of this show, it almost seems that at least 40% of the time the case in question goes unsolved, or, they have an idea of who did it, but not enough evidence to bring the primary suspect forward for trial. This sort of invalidates the narrator's opening credits monologue, where he states, "When these killers cops catch a murder case, it gets solved, quickly." Uh, actually, no it doesn't.

Generally, to clear a case the detective needs to fill the "3 M Rule": Man, Motive, Method.

Once these criteria have been fulfilled, the crime is considered solved. Then it falls on the prosecution to make the charges stick.
