Just so I have this correct, they are going to market these things for around $20, you have to use them on all your cards, hope that they will fit in your wallet so you can be protected against someone who just so happens to have purchased one of those reader things and decides to target you?
Just seems to me like if your card number is going to get hacked, it would be much more likely to be done online, like hacking Paypal or some online merchant.
I love how easy they made it for all the crooks out there. All you have to do is buy a ten dollar machine online and you can rip someone off just buy walking by them. Nice!
shareIt's $20 for a few sleeves, scary thing for me is, I live in a big city, even if the beeping was turned on, I still wouldn't know who the crook could have targeted.
