Tribeca Film Festival

"Bon Jovi: When We Were Beautiful" is being aired at the Tribeca Film Festival. I wasn't able to get off work to go to NYC... but several of my friends went to the premiere and enjoyed the film a great deal! From what I have heard... the film is a mixture of behind the scenes stuff, concert footage and one on one interviews with the members of the band. From what I have read and heard... the director... Phil Griffin... really got the guys to open up and talk about their lives and careers in a manner... that ranged from serious and sad.... to happy and hilarious. Yep... I am most definitely looking forward to seeing this film!!! Along with... of course... the other millions of Bon Jovi fans. :)

i really hope it gets released in cinemas like i think the iron maiden and anvil documentary type things are going to be,though a dvd would do quite nicely.
it sounds good, like an extended version of the crush dvd feature.
and imo they still are beautiful! just older,:D

I would say your friends are right....

I saw this in DC on 10/20, and I enjoyed it. I have never seen Bon Jovi live but I enjoy a lot of his music. It's hard to believe they have been playing for so long. I remember when Slippery When Wet was the tape (yes, I said tape) to get way back when. A lot of people stuck around for the credits afterwards.
