No Bravo Housewive drives a Ford!

I dont think Teresa meant that comment in a derogatory way. I think what she meant was in that within the context of Housewives castmembers, we see them in Range Rovers, Panameras, Maseratis, Bentleys, etc, I think Cynthia from ATL has been the only seen with a more sensible and affordable vehicle, Land Rover Discovery, which shes had at least 2 or more seasons, and cost less then a loaded Explorer. I think she meant within the context Im on a tv show, and everyone has this, and I cant show up in Hyundai Elantra kind of thing. This woman needs to move many children around town, and large Suv is what it takes, Lexus, Tahoe, etc are all similar price range, so what does it matter?

Teresa did once remark, “I didn’t want to go house shopping, because I just skeeve looking at other people’s houses. I don’t want to live in somebody else’s house; that’s gross.”

I think she meant it in a derogatory way for sure. She's too good to drive a Ford.

She definitely meant it as a derogatory statement. My grandfather worked as a Ford mechanic for 40 years. I am proud to drive a Ford. Henry Ford invented the assembly line, and without that innovation, Teresa would not be driving her fancy Lexus today.

Teresa is so ignorant it's painful to watch.

I didn't think the Lexus was a big deal. It was just lease. And she is on tv making hundreds of thousandths of dollars. For them the Lexus was a down grade. And she didn't even have car because she was in jail. I don't understand how someone can suppose you with a leased car but ok. Same with Gretchen and Slade surprising her with all leased car.

I seem to remember Joe saying at the time that Lexus leased it to them for no cost so they'd drive it on camera and get publicity for the brand. Did anyone else hear/read that?

Probably for the dealer. That has to be how Joe and Melissa got the Bentley. I think it was last season they shot a scene at the dealership.
