Santa Barbara location?

Is it just me who think it feels "backwards" when Emma drives out of the wedding venue in Santa Barbara, obviously going south, back to L.A but has the ocean on her left?

I noticed the same thing. Maybe she had to go North a bit to get to the freeway on ramp :)
