How Many Episodes?

Is "Artillery" the first episode? Their website lists "Machine Guns" as #1...

Artillery (6/25/2009)

Machine Guns (7/31/2009)

Tanks (8/07/09)

Pistols (8/14/09)

Helicopters (8/21/09)

Armored Vehicles (8/28/09)

I don't see anymore upcoming new episodes after tonight's armored vehicle episode...:(

Yeah, unfortunately it looks like only six episodes were made... lets hope it gets a second season with a few more episodes!

Indeed. I just discovered this little gem on my local Comcast's On Demand service and I enjoyed the Artillery episode immensely. You pair Ermey's entertaining persona with some fun weapons, a bit of history, and the joy of watching guys blow stuff up and it's pure fun.

I look forward to the other episodes and, like many here, hope that they do more. Lord knows, they haven't scratched the surface of military technology and I'm betting that Mr. Ermey will be more than happy to indulge himself if it all works out. I'm hoping for one on my favorite subject, missiles.

In space, no one can hear you scream. On IMDB, we can hear you, but we just don't give a crap.

Shotguns is the next episode.

Then the episode on Rocketry.

The Korean 'MLRS' was awesome! Definite precursor to the launchers used in WWII and since!

Fight the FOCA

OK, the aim on early MLRS systems like the Korean one shown was poor, but you wonder why even primitive MLRS systems didn't get better development vs. the slow muzzle-loaded cannons, at least up to the introduction of the French 75.

You'd think that, say, a mass of 100 MLRS platforms, each throwing 20 rockets would be pretty devastating, especially against the usual troop deployment tactics in the 19th century, especially against cavalry formations or light skirmish lines.
