If I could get past the short tight skirt and wounder bra, during what may have been the time of the Crusades,the bad acting still couldn't carry it

This should never have premiered. At least if they had removed all the stupid gore it might of passed as a kids flick. The acting was dreadful, it was as if they were reading cue cards just off camera.

Great movie IMO - I had no reason to try and think as I was winding down late Saturday night so this was perfect.

i think this film could have been good, the beast make up was actually pretty effective and it was clear it was done on a budget. what made this film impossible was the so called acting of the cast and Estelle warren "doe in the headlight" stare she had through most of the film

Yeah, I must agree.

The whole movie I kept wondering why she was the only person dressed like that. In a hot pink short skirt? What the hell? I just didn't get it.
All the acting was dry. The Beast was just... bad. I kind of felt like kicking him half the time. Belle just stood there looking like she was a deer caught in the headlights. Nothing really affected her that much; except her mothers death(though that didn't last long.)
The ending was sudden. Suddenly the Beast was all charming and 'handsome.'

The only character I liked was Count Rudolf. His acting may not have been great but he was damn appealing to look at... and some how he managed to be the most likable.

I was going to say the exact same thing that lantzn said. They should have cut out the blood and gore and let little kids watch it instead. They wouldn't mind the wooden acting. Too bad they spent all the budget on the sets - at least it looks that way. The only good thing in the movie was exactly that - the sets and buildings.

Estella's wonderbra and skirt is what made this
movie so great!

But why weren't the other girls in bikinis?
(Just kidding.)

The acting was mostly good because the direction and
the script was mostly good.

The make up on the beast wasn't that great
after he gets out of the cave.
I guess they had a make up problem there.

I agree that there shouldn't have been any gore
in this film.

All in all,i thought there was more good
than bad in this movie.
