Height discrepancy?

Yeah, I came to look at Maggie LAwson's height. There is no way she's 5'8". And she wasn't just wearing 3in heels. They were 4-5 inches easy. Some were platforms. And she does look about the same height as Mark Consuelos, maybe an inch or so shorter. It's said that actors lie about their height about 2 inches. That would put Mark at around 5'7. I doubt they had her wearing heels in the scenes with him. So, she's likely 5'5"-ish.

I can't imagine they made her wear flats in scenes with Vic Webster. She was barely in frame as it was.

Thank you. I came here for the same reason, really to figure out how tall Vic was. I just watched Hostile Makeover, and there are several scenes where Lacy and Vic are walking and she's in bare feet, and she's so tiny standing next to him. When I saw IMDB listed her height as 5'8", my first thought is Vic must be a really really tall man. Then, it show's on IMDB that he's 6'3". That I can believe, because in scenes with other actors, he appears just a bit taller than most people. She has to be shorter than 5'4".

The last time I had that reaction to a height difference was watching Hugh Jackman in the movie, "Someone Like You", with Ashley Judd. He's 6'2 1/2", but Ashley Judd is supposedly 5'7". Not a chance is she that tall.

It doesn't really matter. Heels can make anyone tall, but I can't imagine working all day on your toes.

I know this post was last year, but it looks like they fixed it to 5'6, which should be about right. I watch her on Psych and she is usually about the same height as Shawn(James Roday) and he's pretty short, but that is also with heels on. She doesn't usually wear very high heels on psych because she is a cop and probably because James Roday is so short. My guess is that she is about 5'4-5'5 like someone else said.
