anyone heard if there be a sequel? at the ending it said "to be continued"

Did Lucifer escape via dante's cross on the chest? that he later threw on the ground that transformed to a snake? i guess it has something to be with Lucifer or evil because L said it was so easy to lure eve with the apple, it means he's the snake possibly?

hmm possibly, but i think there will be a sequel yes.

No sequel planned but there will be prologue DLC, an all new campaign that begins in those woods at the beginning of the original poem. So consider it like a second game. There is also going to be multiplayer added as DLC and user created content.

That cross of cloth he sewed on himself was of all his sins, so maybe it was to signify that he had been abolished of all his sins.

Satan was disguised as the blackened cross when Dante came to Purgatory.
