I was glad to hear real Memphis Music used in the show... Green Onions - Booker T and the MGs and Walkin the Dog - Roofus Thomas, to name a few.

shareSince the show is being shot in New Orleans, I'm surprised that they're not using country music from Nashville. They've got the look and feel of the city all wrong, it amazes me that they picked the right music since Nashville is just down the road. I guess somebody educated the producers about the difference in Memphis and Nashville music roots.
