Is it for My Name Is Earl fans?

This show definitely seems different to say the least. But I noticed it has a few of the same actors and even a handful of the same guest actors.
I tried watching the pilot for this show and it didn't appeal that much. But My Name Is Earl is my favorite show and I love Jason Lee. Should I give this show another shot?

I loved this show--so disappointed it was cancelled. Earl is one of my faves, but these two shows are completely different. I dont think liking one would have any bearing on liking the other.
