Both leads needed a full frontal scene!

Did they edit out the full frontal male nudity for the US release?!

reply

I've seen the UK release & there was no full frontal in it. For me the film didn't need any though; there was enough almost nudity all the way through, a full frontal would just have been in there for the sake of it & not for any real need or reason.

It wasn't as much nudity as it was men without wearing shirts (which you can see anywhere on any movie).

Am I the only one who wanted to tie them down and give them a shave and a haircut?

apparently

No, especially Bruno. Pablo is scruffy but at least in a sexy way while Bruno just looks like a bum with that unkempt beard and a rat's nest of hair. No wonder Pablo was so reluctant to kiss him, he was afraid of fleas.

I thought they both looked great. I love seeing men in movies who look like men and not like overgrown Ken dolls the way nearly all the men in American gay movies look, with their hairless gym bodies, spray-on tans and teeth so white they look like chalk. I'm sick to death of the West Hollywood look that has taken over nearly all of American gay culture. (I just posted the same rant in another thread, if it looks familiar.)

Manuel Vignau (Bruno) is the sexiest man I've seen in a gay movie in a long time. I love his hair. It's not dirty, it's just wild. Wild is good, not bad; if you don't like that look, all that means is that you don't like it - but there are lots of us out here who love it.

I hear ya!!

Don't mistake hate speech for free speech. Remember, hate speech kills!

WTF did they "need" full frontal shots? That would add absolutely nothing to this simple, subtle little film.

There's a cornucopia of porn out there for you to get your jollies.
