Bruno's Brazilian Soccer Jersey -

I know it has been a while but just now I stumbled on this movie on Netflix and had to watch it more than once. All the relevant things have been discussed here but there are some frivolous details that made the movie a curiosity to me when I was watching for the first time.
Bruno has a very limited wardrobe, it seems he is even worse financially than Pablo, but one funny touch is the director's pick of one of his T-shirts. It's the Brazilian official Soccer jersey. The rivalry between Argentina and Brazil in the soccer world is ugly and legendary and rule of the thumb is that a Brazilian/Argentinian would never be caught wearing the other's team jersey.
The jersey is the 3-star Brazilian championship (Brazil became 4-star in 1994, then 5-star in 2002). Meaning Bruno has a very old T-shirt for his age if the story is around 2009. Pablo, on the other hand is seen wearing the Italian Soccer jersey, also with 3 stars, so it has to be after 1982.
The movie has a feeling of 'outdated' stuff : the photos, the buildings, the 'view master' toy, the eletronics (or lack of) .. Maybe the T-shirts were picked with the purpose to place the story a while back, around the 80's.

Interesting point of view. I saw the movie very oldie. I haven't been in Buenos Aires but it seems like 90s.

We have to find out about those songs on the radio. Then we might know for sure. But yeah, no cell phone sightings either.
