asian?

I don't think of Asian when i'm looking at saleem. Middle eastern / Indian, yeah, but whatever - he was haut! did anyone else think this would develop into a full length movie? or did everyone else kinda know it was just a short, unlike me X~o well, something interesting happened towards the end of the film. ok, so like i said, i thought this was a full length feature and was enjoying it until we get to the end when you get to the confrontation - you know; the 'i love you, please stay' - 'no, i.... just no... ' -.- all i could wonder was: isn't this way too much emotion for just a chance encounter / beginning of a film. but now it all makes sense, since it's a short. i guess my question is: should films start out with this level of intensity - long films. Or does it sort of spoil everything else that comes after with : "it can't get much more emotional than the beginning"
