Nichelle Nichols by far.

Zoe by a country mile. She rocks and I like her Klingon.🐭

Nichelle, obviously. Not to say Zoe hasn't done a good job.

Oh come on what kind of stupid question is that? Yours spends way too much time bothering Spock and nagging him about their relationship rather than doing her own damn job. I thought Abrams would have done a better job this time around with that but it got even more ridiculous in a way this time around. For that I don't like Saldana in the role at all.

well in her defense, it's not Zoe's fault, she has no control over how her character is written, she can only do the best she can with what she is given. It's really the fault of the writers...with that said, I have to admit that I don't quite like how her character was written in STID very much, I like her in the first reboot movie...but they made her character even more of a naggy girlfriend in STID, but again, it's not Zoe's fault.

reply

Oh yeah I know it's not her fault sorry I should have said that. She herself is quite likable but her portrayal and direction was very poor. That was my point. I'll try to be more clear and concise next time. But I'm glad you see what I mean.

Nichelle Nichols. And it's not even a close contest.

Zoe Saldana.

It is not a fair fight.

I'll repeat something important. Nichols didn't like season one. She has said she felt like she was barely more than a switchboard operator.

But then she met Martin Luther King, who liked her performance. Further, he told her that her role was important, groundbreaking, a black woman, serving as an officer, as an equal. So she didn't quit.

Okay, I am paraphrasing from memory. Still, not a fair fight.

I felt that Lark Voorhies was meant for that role.
