Why is it still 7.8 ? This movie's suck! What's wrong with you people ?

This movie worse than any Star Wars prequels, and Indy IV! How the hell it's still 7.8 ? It deserves 6 or 5.8 or lower than that, this garbage is truly the most let down one of 2013 and a lot of idiots still bashing Man of Steel ? What the hell wrong with most people ? Star Trek Into Darkness is rip-off garbage that need to universally hate than Man of Steel, if you love this movie then you love a goddamn garbage.

Star Trek Into Darkness is a 100% rehash from Wrath of Khan and too many thrown back scenes to the 2009 one, there's no heart and ridiculous to watch. If Benedict Cumberbatch is just John Harrison then I would accept it and no proplem with it, but he's turn to be Khan ? What the F was that ? And how ridiculously whitewashing the character was ! You can pick Benecio Del Toro or Javier Bardem to portraying the role, but why the hell Cumberbatch have to be Khan ? That is not Khan, Khan is not a butthurt crying man-bjtch like that! And Cumberbatch did an effing terrible job to this character, I mean what do I have to says more ? BTW all the Trekkie hate it, and it had the most unsatisfying movie ending in the cinema history ! I would be fine if the movie let Spock kill Kahn in the end, because Cumberbatch ruined this character terribly bad enough already. Why let him live ?

Star Trek Into Darkness more like Star Trek Into Crap, with the garbage script by Kurtzman and Orci. Those a-hole cannot write any good sequel at all, look at how Revenge of the Fallen and The Retard Fake Emo Spidey 2 turns out ? It wasn't the movie that should supposed to be, after the great premise to the ending of 2009 one that they're promising that the next adventures to this new timeline it's going to be new and unique. And turns out it's not what they're promising to the audience at all, even JJ admited during The Force Awakens' press that STIT had the script problems and the Critics still ate the hell of this garbage ? WTF wrong with the critics and the majority ? Star Trek Into Darkness is a goddamn GARBAGE of 2010's!

I hope Star Trek Beyond need to really be better a lot, and I don't care those butthurt that talked trash to the first teaser. It will be better because of Simon Pegg's script, and Justin Lin he's the franchise savior look how Fast Five turns out ! He's the guy that Star Trek's franchise need, and majority love what he done in the 2nd Fast trilogy. So it will be way better than that Into the Crap garbage!

Ah, the ranting of a bitter nerd. It's at a 7.8 because nobody really cares what you think regarding this movie. I thought it was an enjoyable nod to the Wrath of Khan.

I agree. As I have said countless times, these movies are NOT made for you Trekkie fans. They're made for people who don't know a lot about it and can enjoy a fresh take on something original. They used the Khan storyline to give a shout out to the Trekkie fans, but made it new and different for those who don't know the original Star Trek.

This crap is a god damn completely rehash to Wrath of Khan, even more rehash than The Force Awakens which by the way a much better than Star Trek Into Rip-Off.

This garbage was insulted in every levels of the human-being entertainment, the ending of 2009's Star Trek they gave the promise to the audience that they will bring something new into this brand new universe. Then they didn't, this is just another movie studio's greedy aspect that never care about the quality of a movie but just wants money and want to do a rehash that new generation won't watch the old one because it's old. Even JJ already confirmed that the script had the problem and it's not the movie he wants to make.

Do I need to bring the unsatisfying ending to the table ? That was the main point that made a prove that Star Trek Into the Rrhash isn't even a good movie.

I am an old timer "Trekkie fan" from the 60's. I enjoyed this film a great deal. Please don't lump us all in with the moronic troll who started this thread.

Wonder why aliens don't contact us? Watch American Heroes Channel for 15 minutes.

I think the real question is, what the hell is wrong with you? The world does not revolve around you, nor does your opinion hold anymore weight than the rest of us. If you think these movies "suck", fine that's your opinion, others will feel differently and disagree with you. Belittling and insulting others just because they have different opinions and don't agree with you makes you look like a hypocritical self-righteous a$$hole. And don't expect other people to respect your opinions if you don't respect theirs.

Star Trek Into Darkness' suck, even JJ Abrams admited that script had a problem.

If it's that bad, why the hell some one had to defend it ? Most of the Trekkie didn't agree to the rating of Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB, that is an effing truth!

Deal with it, this movie's suck and the rating system is BAD.

You can pick Benecio Del Toro

Benecio del Toro was cast for the role. He dropped out due to financial disputes in December, with filming beginning in January. BC auditioned via phone on Christmas Day, and was cast with only a couple of weeks to spare.

Arthur, put the kettle on and dig out those lemon hand wipes.

Yeah this was a HUGE POS! I rewatched it yesterday, only my second time and it was worse than I remembered it. These writers are a joke. Why in the hell is Khan going to a Klingon planet? WHy put all those people in torpeodoes? I get why Khan did it but why keep them?? And it felt The Wrath of Khan, which was a GREAT movie and these hacks copied it.

And yeah get a REAL Khan, not a guy who looks like a total white boy. Cumberbatch looks like an alien.

I do think that it's weird that this film in particular is rated the second highest on IMDb, even higher than WRATH OF KHAN, which is bafflingly rated low for this site given its rep as the best Trek film. Many film buffs even outside of the Trek fandom regard INTO DARKNESS as a bad sequel, but I guess more of the masses aren't as critical over it.

I myself was so harsh on this movie in 2013 but after I saw it again after beyond the hate is underserved. It is not a bad sequel. it had just one scene that was bad which was the reharsh scene but it does not make the film a bad sequel.
