Remake

I just finished watching this and you know the first thing that flashed through my mind? The US is gonna do a remake. So this is just a heads-up to the producers of the remake: Do something original, you useless mongrels. I hate you, and if I ever meet you you're f&*^!%d.

reply

yeah its only a matter of time before some idiot Hollywood producer and and equally unoriginal director rapes this movie.

"Los Angeles is too unattractive of a city to pull it off"

No, Ive lived in both cities and New Yrk is full of trash and rats. New York is over-crowded and smells. At least in LA its spread out enough where the sun touches your skin and in NY so many buildings its shaded and cold. Im frm Iowa and I prefer LA over New York anyday. Ny is very very ugly

They could make it in Vancouver... we have the same kind of housing market and just as many a-hole property developers.

LOL, Angelina Jolie. Try Sarah Jessica Parker perhaps, or Ali Larter. But, yeah, totally remake-able. I assume you all have seen Dark Water, another Asian horror with a real estate theme -- with a remake set in New York.
