Holy Teen Lesbian Funfest

What the hell was up with all the lesbian innuendo in this movie ? Was the director roman polanski or something or is this typical of all girls school.

I would suppose most ladies are bi/les to begin with?

Wishful thinking but no.

What's your favorite scary movie?

I think it's safe to say most women aren't lesbians, but you will never know if most people are bisexual. It sure could explain many things, like how college girls often experiment and than call themselves straight under the pressures of society.
And bisexual men are very much looked down upon, so I think that that would make many men claim to be straight or simply gay and not have to think about the implications of being bisexual-- representing gay-choice in gay culture. Many monosexuals try to sway bisexual people to choose a side. I know I have been many a times told that I am a lesbian by gay people and straight by straight people, and it is exhausting having to defend myself and how I feel. I know I'm not alone, and I know many straight and gay people who while they label themselves that way, have had good sex with both women and men and just don't talk about it because it's a taboo on both sides of the fence. You can say you kissed a girl and liked it but to say you are bisexual is something people don't care to admit.

I think same sex schools end up bringing bisexuals and homosexuals out of the closet sooner than they would at a regular school. You are able to feel that raw desire in the absence of heterosexual stimulation and opportunities. I figure it's similar in prison for many.

Man I thought I was the only one who picked up on that, lesbian overtones over and over again

reply

It was more like jealous friendships than lesbian leanings.

It's inspired by Carmilla.

We need more serious Lesbian Vampire films, I'm sick of everything I find searching those 2 words being either Porn or weird Feminist articles.

Still bummed that Ernessa got 'killed'.

I just assumed it was a nod to the book they were studying - Carmilla. Its a running theme from the book.

I still love the title of this thread

Could have done with more. Needed a good lesbian sex scene (not the faux one with Ernessa the Vampire draining Lucy) and maybe a flirtatious shower scene. Would have given a little needed spice to the movie.

Mr. Davies spells it out in class. There are three elements to a vampire story.

BLOOD. SEX. DEATH.

This movie had plenty of 1 and 3, not nearly enough of 2
