What would you rather have, Max Payne 4 or the first two games remade with the same engine as MP3 and given a little extra polish for next gen consoles and PC and released as a trilogy box set?
I'd rather have the first two remade, and when I say remade I mean re-rendered with the MP3 engine, game layout, plot and voice acting would remain untouched.
Either one sounds like a good idea(if done right). I would like a 4th game taking that leads him back to New York to eradicate the mob once and for all(for putting a hit on him).

Id rather have the first two games NOT made on this engine because they clearly made an inferior product.
By the way, the original two games work just fine on PC as they should. The textures are a bit bad, that s***eating grin on max face is horrifying.

No, it wasn't an inferior product. Graphically, the game has one of the best visuals from the late last gen era. Narratively and gameplay-wise, the game was amazing. Only fools didn't like the game. Rockstar did an amazing job bringing Max Payne back into the gaming world. It was fun and addicting.
shareThe graphics are nice, true. But graphics does not a game make. We were already over this - gameplay which was great, was ruined by interception of player character phyiscs and horrible attempts to take control away from the player.

Those are invalid critiques on the game. The game was no different than any Metal Gear Solid or other AAA game out there where the cutscenes are far and many. Even playing a game like Bulletstorm has many cutscenes inserted into the game. It didn't take control of anything. You and all the other people saying all this just have short attention spans. And if anything, Max Payne 3 had some of the best player physics in the game. You probably didn't even know how to use bullet time which is why you probably crashed into the wall often.
My name is irrelevant. I appreciate other games and Max Payne isn't the only game series I am into. I just refuse to sit idly by seeing people make stupid comments about a game that was amazing. It deserves a sequel.
