The Video Camera Scene At The Dance

My friend came over recently and wanted to watch this. Even though I'm far from keen on this film, I obliged. And one sequence stuck out like a sore thumb for me: Stifler videoing girls at the school dance. Now, I know that the spin-offs basically take the concept of realism and carpet bomb it into oblivion, but this is even more retarded than usual. If I tried that at my Student Union, I would get punched in the face/kicked in the bollocks and probably be banned for life. Yet the girls at the dance oblige and even snog on demand. And if one of our official university film crews tried that, he/she would be sacked very very quickly. Talk about wish fulfillment on the part of the writers.
