Hey, do you watch the scripts before you see the movie? I always wonder why people keep asking for scripts. is it so you can compare and contrast the script to the final film? I did that a few times with my favorite movies, but sometimes it seems like people are asking before the movie is released, and I wonder why you'd want to spoil the movie for yourself?

It's a reference to Harper's Island, which was a 13 episode murder mystery mini-series that aired on CBS last year.
As for why I read scripts before. Usually I don't. But there are times, like this, when I can't wait for the movie to come out. Leaked scripts are usually rough copies. Most of the ones I read have had countless rewrites before the movie came out, so I'm never too worried about spoiling everything. Yes, some plot points will be spoiled, but it's worth it to not be left in the dark.
