Haters don´t understand this movie

what's causing so many people's confusion with this movie is the fact that it starts out as one of those disaster/survival type movies and then suddenly changes to a sci-fi/monster ending. That type of change is just so uncommon.

Watch it again with an open mind and you will see how awesome it is.

It wasn't a great film by any stretch, but I enjoyed it for what it was. I felt like it could have been a pretty decent episode of The Twilight Zone.

and that's why I kinda liked it. Honestly, I thought it would be terrible, but it was descent at most. Sure, it drags at parts, it has some terrible dialogues here and there (Conspiracy theory? Really? Why do I have to listen to characters melodrama of who killed who and who loves who in a monster movie?) but overall, it was better then I thought it would be. Descent direction and photography.

and I liked the monster, it had some Lovecraftian feel to it.

and to people who think it has terrible acting... well, you really haven't seen too many low budget movies with terrible acting, didn't you?

It was overacted few times, but actors did best what they could with script... I mean, try imagining some high profile actor acting out lines like:

"A: you killed my mom"
"B: no, you killed mine"
"A: No, you killed mine"
"B: I love you"
"A: talk later"

yeah, I dare you Marlon Brando and Anthony Hopkins.

Ditto.

Disliking a movie doesn't mean you're a hater or that you're not capable of understanding it. Sometimes movies just suck.
