'Season Finale' ?

Okay, after this past Friday's episode (which apparently was second to last one), it did show previews for next Friday. Now this is supposed to be the last episode period, but I found it a little strange that they list it as the "Season Finale". And for a moment I actually got a glimmer of hope ... I thought "Maybe there was enough of a stir that they decided they'd drop the cancellation and go ahead and try another season this fall?"

I'm guessing that's a no though, right? Wishful thinking on my part? I mean I suppose it's just that "Season Finale" sounds better than "This is the last episode of this show ever because we're a bunch of boneheads that didn't promote the show or give it any type of chance ..."

Network TV seems to be calling every finale a season finale if it wasn't a planned finale.

I'm hoping someone at CBS grew a brain and will bring this back, perhaps in mid-season.

"Three Rivers" ended last night and that episode WAS called the series finale.
I thought that was a fine show as well.

We know Alex O'Loughlin has forged ahead since he stars in the new "Hawaii Five-O" this fall.
