enjoyed it but... (some spoilers)

Really well made movie. Great performances by the lead gal, guy, the father and especially the mother character.

I just found it confusing as to how we are supposed to take the ending.

Was it supposed to be a good thing that she gets back with the guy that caused her brothers death, completely destroying her family in the process?

I am wondering how -his- very conservative family was going to take to this news too?
