Hilarious scene *spoiler*

When Stefania (the mother) turns around to confront the nasty woman in the shop, after the latter has been gloating about her son soon to be married, heavily insisting on how happy she is about it, implying that Stefania, with her gay son, will never have this chance :
- I hadn't realised Luigi was getting married, that's wonderful ! And with Caterina ?
God, he is marrying the "public beach" ; that's how we used to call her, because everyone could stick their parasol in her. Such horrible things people come up with !
It's terrible. What a horrid thing, slander can be ! ( smilling ): Goodbye !

Loved it. She said it with such poise. Brilliant !
