Past/future Spoiler (unconfirmed)

There is a spoiler (Unconfirmed)that states that they (I think Damon/Bonnie or maybe Stefan) goes back in the past to kill Cade. The trip to the past changes everything. We also get to see their future someone claim that Caroline runs the Salvatore Boarding School with Elena's little brother Jeremy. I do not know if the spoilers are legit, but I do recall Sybil, and Seline go looking for Damon back in time.

I figured there would be a time jump to see how things turn out, but a jump into the past? If you asked me how they could ruin this show further, I would have 2 answers:

1. It was all a dream (or some variation of this).
2. Time travel.

THis actually looks very plausible.

They have opportunities to make alternate endings this way too - different endgames

This would have to change The Originals then. And change it in a major major major way as in they might not even be all together or in New Orleans whatsoever. Everything that's happened on that show would have to be completely changed and done. Including existance of baby Hope. Otherwise nothing makes sense.

Sounds like a cop out ending to me. Even worse than it was all a dream. Please don't let this be true!

The spoilers is talking about change the existence of cade not change everything. Of course Bonnie will know how much she will be changing with going back trip so def not going back to the start.

Here's what I read and why if it does happen massive changes will have to take place on the originals to make sense

the reason why all these dead characters are back is because they change the past which literally changes the course of everything. Including deaths and everything that has happened sense. I also read it could end with life as the Salvatores never came to town

I heard that too. I can see that happening, and that's the way they honor the she met a boy quote.

Actually I can see that happening, and then at the end Elena Mets a guy who looks just like Stefan....But surprise , Surprise . He's human.

Yeah I just can't see how they can justify an ending like that though and still have the originals. Lol.

I agree! But my intuition has always told me they were gonna end this show with some sort of alternative past. And the fact Nina was running around in old, human(or not beyond S4) Elena gear, while everyone else looked dressed for a wedding or funeral, I'd say there's something to this spoiler.

Plus: Kat/Bonnie in a wedding dress. Dead characters who not only are Not in Hell, but were long-ago confirmed to have found Peace, back on set. Everyone knowing how extremely unlikely a DE wedding was (*tho* even if Ian was being too difficult, they could have filmed future scenes of them ALLUDING to their happy, human, kid-filled future...). The chance that JP/KW chose to be diplomatic with SE v DE endgames.
AND, not only does Bonnie onvi have her magic back, it looked like she created the same ripple in Space-time that allowed Cade to create Hell. That said, perhaps it's just a peaceful little prison-worldesque place for her to happily exist with Enzo. At this point, I'm pretty sure she'd be fine leaving everyone else. And maybe it would technically mean her "death" (from this plane), so Elena could wake-up. That being said, Kai's comeback most likely means the original rules are being altered, OR he reveals Elena was never really tied to Bonnie...possibly, it was Damon all along.

All this said, I fully agree about TO's timeline. Plus, we know Ric goes down to NOLA on THEIR show, to bring Elijah an ancient relic. So he has to be alive and running the Armory. Further, unless every single castmember wrote it in blood that they are DONE, JP/KW would not want to box themselves out of MF kiddos making guest spots, or even more, in The Quarter. Unless of course, they're sure TO won't get another season...they're already done filming 4...
If this IS the case, I'll never forgive JP for not fighting tooth and nail to prevent the network pushing and dumping TO into March. Was it not bad enough that the Death Slot happened!? The CW practically eats out of her palms, so not only do I strongly believe she could have prevented her and Narducci's baby being dumped for basic GARBAGE, and used as a "shiny thing"' to attract viewers to Spring '17. Just like with The 100, that network FINALLY had a chance to legitimize itself as a "real boy," and instead of continuing forward, they LEPT back to bratty and boring obvlivion.

Yes. Tom Avery . He probably will still be alive, or someone like that. I always felt that Stefan was for Katherine, and Tom was for Elena....and Caroline wound up with Tyler.

You know, you've got one hell of a point there. Tom was PERFECT for Elena. It even would have stood to reason that she'd do her residency in ATL. I wonder if that's something JP and CD or KW ever seriously considered...either for now, or in a reworking of S5, or something.

Forewood was a pretty perfect ship. And one that ended for a lame reason. They probably should have split, the Klaroline hookup still occurred, and then maybe Forewood could have been endgame. I REALLY wish Matt could have either ended up with Bex, or at least been with her longer. Steferine would be a more acceptable endgame if she'd never taken over Elena. That was too unforgivable. While Stelena was everything (to many of us), I still feel Delena should have had a go at it, starting when they did, but with a shorter timeline. It wouldn't be fair to Stefan to put him back with Elena NOW, not if everything that happened still did.

I always suspected JP and KW were musing with ending in a fractured timeline, where Elena would have the chance to meet Stefan all over again/be with him anew. Now that they've cemented Steroline so strongly, it's obvious that there won't be any Stelena endgame in This timeline.

As for Caroline, I think everyone can agree that she's been WINNING as a vampire, since day 1. And I don't feel they need to offer her either the Cure or any altered timeline so that she can be a human mom to the twins. They are witches and as part of the supernatural world, would be able to accept their Forever young mama. Besides, no one has said that cyphons can't have EXTRA long youth/lives in the way that normal powerful witches can.

Oh . . . Stefan's paramedic doppelganger would still be alive in this timeline. That is, if the doppelganger storyline still exists in this alternate reality.

If Cade was killed two thousand yr ago , It would affect Stefan .

Remember 1917 Seline found Stefan after his killing Spree , he had killed a few children , Seline erased part of that brutal memories and Stefan was slowly able to forgive himself and change his way .

Imagine without Seline , Ripper Stefan continue his way for a few more decade , a lot more people would have been killed .

nd then a few yr later 1920's he met Klaus and Rebekah , and Klause Erase more Memories from Stefan , which Stefan thought it was his blackout .

Stefan was an important person to the Originals Family , he saved Klaus from Mikael

But this won't happen. Alaric appears on The Originals in season 4, so it has to effect TO's too.

I'd be all for this actually. But I doubt the creators/writers have the guts to do it. Brace yourselves for a predictable happily ever after
