Where he freaked about the book making a profit...and not getting the point of the project. Was that really about money?

It could have been about money. Or it could have just been about Evan Stone being a total *ick.

I doubt it b/c he was the only one they showed...hell he didn't think he was gonna get Jenna and Larry b/c they were too big and he did.
