they bought the rights for this movie and even the song....though you should now...and it is a remake by permission...so stop cursing....hollywood makes remakes too....

Indian film budgets are rarely big enough to license out a majority of the crap they "remake". Even when they do have the budget, it doesn't mean they do try to negotiate.
