Lead actress is TERRIBLE - too whiney...no range

I've only watched for 5 minutes but I wanna bump her off! ; >

The actress who plays the lead is wayyyy too whiney. She comes
across as annoying - not a sympathetic figure.

I don't know, I actually like her in the role. She's got to be kind of forgetful and 'unstable' and she pulls it off well. That's just my opinion, but I think she brings something to the role.

I disagree; I think Shiri Appleby performed the role of Meagan perfectly. I may be a little biased though because as a former Roswell-breathing teen, I only watched this because it starred Appleby (who was the leading gal on Roswell -the much better and much earlier version of today's "Twilight").

I thought Shiri played the part really well. I do think she's a good actress. I loved her on Roswell.

I'll tell you the greatest regret of my life: I let my love go.

I disagree. She was good - as good as one can be in a movie like this.

Tomorrow's just your future yesterday!

I liked her and thought she did a very credible job as Megan.

I was hopin the husband would get away with it, I know that sounds mean, but I just could not feel sympathy for her, she was way too annoying. Not just because she was frustrated at being manipulated, but just everything about her even before anything happened. Not a good leading actress, but would be fine in a supporting role. Casting made a huge mistake on hiring her for that role, the movie would've been ten times better if they would have given the role to a stronger actress.

I think you're missing the point with Megan's character. Had she been seen or portrayed as strong, the story wouldn't have worked. To me it made sense she was as delicate as she was because of her history. I can't think of too many women who, after being left for dead by a jerk who isolated you from your loved ones, would bounce back immediately and be perfectly sane and in-charge in a relationship.

Megan's character needed that frailness so Woody could play on it and manipulate her to his advantage. That said, I thought Shiri did a wonderful job and the guy who plays Woody was kind of cute. I also wanted him to get away with it, or to really be a nice, moral guy and Megan really be crazy. The story was written in a way that it could have believably gone in either direction.

I agree. I wanted to kill her when she wanted to show the saleslady a picture of her husband on the thought of him buying another one of those satin blouses. I mean, who the freak cares. honey???
