I found myself constantly curious how Kenyan society viewed these relationships and the men who chose to pimp themselves out.

They touched on it a little bit, but really from the perspective of the dreaded guy telling the woman before he was through with her, so we cannot trust his characterization of the dynamic and social mores. We saw how one woman, the wife, was contemptuous of the Austrian woman after they had used her, but she is in that world. I am wondering how local people who are not in the dynamic view it.

I wonder if there are resorts catering to Western cougars. I've never seen it. Just men, but only in some areas of town, not out in the open in a resort like that standing in front of beach chairs waiting to be picked up. Or hotels allowing women to call single men on the phone in their rooms.
