One of the MOST amazing movies I have ever watched.

The most recommended "review" here has absolutely missed the point of the movie. This movie may not be easily grasped by people who haven't gone through what happens in the movie.

The emotions portrayed were just as I experienced them in real life, and shows the pain, sorrow, and the absolutely pure joy and love that comes from the affair. Incredible.Granted, if you have never been in love with someone you cannot pursue, then maybe you won't see the point of the movie.

The acting in this movie was beyond anything I have ever seen, especially by Anna. Watched the whole two hours and will re-watch many times, over and over.

Are you talking about the one written by gradyharp or kipale78? I'm not sure which one you're speaking of.

In any case, I've also been there and completely agree with you. An affair is an emotional roller coaster and each day brings both happiness and sadness for so many reasons.

There is a lot of compunction and indecision. One minute, you want to give it a chance then the next minute you worry that you'll lose everything from your children, to financial stability. Even extended family members, just like in the film, are affected.

Not to mention the lack of having anyone to turn to. Children and guilt plays the biggest part in that but Anna experienced it to, even without children.

Mine lasted for four years. Theirs was short in comparison, but the feelings are the same no matter what the circumstances.
