So Dr Sun is he big liberator

still he has no qualms about people getting murdered in the dozens on the street just so he can have a meeting?
im thinking for example of the street running where the assassins is shooting right down on people etc.

i never understood why people sacrifices themselves for people who sees themselves as more important than other people.

So how about viewing it this way.

Some day, Obama realises that big oil companies are too selfish and he's going to a conference that will convince all the other heads of state to confiscate oil from private oil companies so it can be evenly distributed to the rest of the world (highly unlikely but hey, I'm trying to think of a revolutionary move).

This will anger a lot of people. So his security is going to be beefed up because there have been death threats and protests from these oil companies.

Do you think he will back down or go attend this meeting? Do you think the guards that are in his employ will walk away because they are scared that there might be an attempt on his life?

Whether Dr Sun knew or not isn't the point. The point is the bravery of these little people that knew something big was going to happen (overthrowing an empire in this case). They knew that their lives were nothing compared with what this one man can achieve.

And yes, in answer to the heading. He's one of the men that brought about the Xinhai Revolution, which overthrew the Qing Dynasty and established the Republic of China. Not unlike the American Revolution where thirteen colonies in North America joined together to break free from the British Empire.
