Not quite the cash cow you thought, eh warner?

130 million. Wow. I hope your blu-ray/dvds sell better. I haven't seen it yet, but I greatly look forward to it. The first one is one of my favorite CGI movies. Clearly you guys flopped hard on this one. I'm reading a lot of bad reviews. But, I am easy to please :p 3D isn't a selling point for me. I prefer a good storyline, with good acting, and effects. Something i'm sure a lot of people would agree with Usually children movies are so cute, it's easy to be forgiving.

I just saw it a few days ago at the dollar theatre near my house, I actually liked it better than the first one. The first one I always thought was trying too hard to be a serious movie about accepting who you are with a slightly environmental message thrown into it, that just happened to have singing penguins in it.

Well in this one, they kept the singing penguins, managed to make the message seem fun rather than preachy and just...Yeah. I personally liked it a lot more.

So I hope you do enjoy it when you go see it.

Thanks. I generally try not to read too much into reviews. Because I have liked movies that didn't review too well. But they can be informative at times. I'd say I like 99/100 children movies. It's really hard to screw up a childrens movie ;) It's actually pretty sad that I can count on enjoying modern childrens movies, but adult movies are hit and miss.

Thanks for not posting spoilers :) Soon enough, and I'll enjoy it :D

yeesh ,look at the reviews at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Happy-Blu-ray-Combo-UltraViolet-Digital/dp/B004EPZ0AM/ref=sr_tr_sr_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1328574763&sr=1-1

I've never seen so many bad reviews for a theatrically relased animated movie.. *squirm* man , and I thought Cars 2 was bad..

You wanna know what's going on with the Amazon

Over on Youtube there's a guy called Mike Mozart telling people to go out and downrate movies. He's some toy reviewer, but lately he's gone somewhat ...kooky.

Therefore, there's a chance that all the people who downrated it one start on Amazon haven't even seen it. Kinda like what a lot of people do with the ratings on imdb here actually. Some could have seen it, but I think most who gave it one star didn't. Note that most of the one stars are also from February.

Personally I didn't think the movie was that bad. Maybe a 5 out of 10 at most.

The first one was okay, the 2nd was pushing so so in my opinion.

I am watching this movie right now and I can say that although I was hesitant about wanting to see this movie, I really am enjoying it. "Happy Feet" was okay and not something i would want to watch again. There are not very many movies that I can say the sequel is better than the original. "Happy Feet Two" is so much better then "Happy Feet." That is all I have to say.

P.S. "Happy Feet," to me, is an animated musical spin-off remake of the movie "March of the Penguins." "March of the Penguins" is way better then "Happy Feet."

For me, I was very disappointed with this sequel I literally FELT the disappointment here in my chest.
I have many reasons to love the first Happy Feet (watched it like 10 times), and I can't even begin to like the second. If a poster before me said that "some reviewer missing the content", then I say the producer is missing the heart of the original.
