Wouldn't it be nice if animated films could have a new message?

Nothing's wrong with this message it's just that ... EVERYONE IS TELLING THE SAME ONE!!!

I am speaking to the obligatory environmental message that nearly every animation story has to touch on.

The comment wasn't so much for the movie as it was for the industry churning out so many with the same message.

Which films were you thinking of? In the last decade, there's been Wall-E, the first Happy Feet, and The Lorax (although the message in The Lorax derives from the 1971 book itself). That's not a lot of animated movies. Are there any others?

Miyazaki films almost always have some sort of environmental message, but that's just something that's important to him personally and they've always been like that.
