So much potential, so many unanswered questions

This series began on a blasé note but picked up quite a bit of steam during it's run. Sure Eastwick was downright cheesy at times, but I suspect that it was intentionally so. If I remember correctly, this was in part a casualty of the writer's guild association strike during the 2009-2010 TV season.

Anyway, I'm really bummed by Eastwick's cancelation because by the end of its run, I had become more engrossed in the drama than I had realized.

There were so many questions left unanswered, like

- Who was investigative reporter Max working for, and how did this person know of Joanna's powers?
- Where would the Penny/Joanna/Jamie storyline have gone?
- What did that creepy kid Gene have planned for Kat? (beyond possession, obviously)
- Whatever happened to Bun and Eleanor? Was Bun aware of Eleanor's murderous intentions? I think someone dropped the ball on this one.
- Where was Roxie's husband for the past five years? Who orchestrated his disappearance and why?

I know. I hate It when ABC cancels great shows.

It was one of the best finales I've seen. It pretty much went full circle and left so many things open-ended.

The Writers strike was in 2007. It didn't effect this show.

It would be one thing if it was a SEASON finale. Would have left a lot of things open for the next season. But, as a SERIES finale, it SUCKED. A series finale should offer closure and tie up loose ends. When a show ends on a cliffhanger and leaves the audience with questions, it's a terrible way for a show to go out. I mean look what happened with Lost.

I agree with all of this, it kills me when a show is canceled and there are a lot of questions unanswered. Idk why they ended like that, it sucks. When they found out it wasn't going to be renewed they should have at least made a movie to answer all the remaining story lines and give some closure. I thought this was a great show and don't see why it wasn't renewed anyway!!! I loved it and think it could have continued!! I hate when good shows are canceled but the stupid reality shows continue.
