This is just horrible. I watched the first 15 minutes then had to stop. He opens with his Mothers Death, good one, then on to his poop and how he wants to get nasty with a bad girl. WOW, what happened to this guy? He used to be funny.
I guess when you don't steal jokes and have to make them up yourself they are pretty bad. he should go back to stealing jokes.
He shouldn't go back to stealing jokes. Demetri Martin and Louis CK are funnier comedians. He shouldn't have ripped off good jokes and made them unfunny.
Retaliation is the most boring piece of *beep* I've ever listened to. I laughed, maybe, once per disc. It just wasn't funny. Vicious Circle had some funny parts but overall still too much physical comedy, which is an oxymoron. I really enjoyed Rough Around the Edges and I can see huge improvements in his act throughout the years. This still wasn't quite as funny as the MSG show but it is so much better than Retaliation and some of the other bits of his I've seen (The Insomniac Tour, Harmful if Swallowed, Comedy Central Presents).
He didn't "used to be funny." He used to be over-the-top awful. But I'm really starting to dig his stuff now.
