Extremely dumb

This is one of those movies where you really have to shut your brain off, because absolutely nothing makes any sense. It is pure nonsense from beginning to end.

We have this extremely gullible and apparantly brainless lead character, who does absolutely everything wrong, and actually manages to become a criminal and gets her own mother killed, when all she had to do, was ask police to talk to her Mother, and clear up who she was, but no, instead she goes on a rampage with death threats, car jackings and other asorted crimes.
We have lazy and incompetent police, and a story that is as plausible as men giving birth. I Mean the villain is this master hacker who in a very short period of time apparantly can make passport forgeries, make video surveilance disappear, fake websites with apartment rentals, make sure victim meets exactly the right arab on the right bench, at the right place and time as if she is this super puppet master,
Have they never heard of dna? Or fingerprints being unique? The villain supposedly was wanted by interpol, and had been in and out of hospitals, but this was apparantly not enough to id who they had in custody.

This movie was so stupid one wonders how this was ever made.

For a thriller to be effective and exciting, you have to have a plausible story, and likeable characters you can root for,and suspenseful action and high drama. Here you have none of these things.

Watch Frantic with Harrison Ford, similar plot, way better executed.
