Rented this movie on a whim. Never heard of it. I thought it was creepy!

My girlfriend and I were at the RedBox down the street, and we watch scary movies all the time, so we figured we'd give this one a try. No joke, from the description, I thought it was going to be an alien movie haha.

Anyways, I thought it was downright creepy! Not so much the stuff that happened, but just the general atmosphere of the movie. Sure, it's kind of low budget, and the acting isn't always top notch, but I think it worked.

Creepiest part: (SPOILERS)

When Steven is lying in his bed and that creepy guy from the fun house is just laying under his bed plucking at the springs.

Worst part: (SPOILERS)

Minor gripe, but it really bugged me... The very last scene of the movie when Steven is playing by the corn and his family is yelling at him to come get in the car was good in concept, but it could have been executed better. First of all, the voice of the woman singing should have been more muffled, like it was actually coming from the corn. It sounded more like a voice over. Also, when the stick flew at the camera, I was really upset. It broke the 4th wall. I think it would have been perfect if it was the woman singing, just barely coming through the corn, and then fade to black. Roll credits.

All in all, I liked the movie. I didn't know anything about it when I rented it, and I'm glad. If I had read all these negative reviews, I think it would have made me go in with low expectations.

Why do the guy want Stevie to walk in the field? I thought that was pretty weird.
The whole movie was weird.
