1. Dad puts gun to head of mom (not very christian)
2. Dead women in field (not very Christian)
3. Mom gets rid of kid to party at the bar (not very Christian)
4. Grandmas foul mouth (not very Christian)
5. Zero priests or any sort of worship in film (not very Christian)

Do NOT show this to your father. It has many F words and they use Gods name in vain dozens of times. Plus the movie was awful

Sometimes we learn from non-Christian themes. Not sure I'd recommend it to a Dad, but there are some lessons to be learned about rural mental health, and just how vulnerable rural people are to attacks.

A TON of language. Would easily be rated R on the language alone.

I do. My brother in law is a Pastor and he does. He doesn't like Satanic movies because, you know, we don't want to invite the Devil in. But anything else he will watch.

I don't think works of fiction would "invite the devil in" anymore than movies about ghosts would invite them in. This is especially true if the devil is fictional itself, sort of like how ghosts are.
