LOL ... Santa is a vampire

This trailer is all over the place. Is it a horror film? From there trailer there is a zombie kid in what appears to be no blood and an army of elves. I got to see this.

It's about training Mall Santa Clauses. They apparently found the real Santa and all those "elves" are actually dirty oldmen.

You're both WAY off base, though I think "betel-geuse" is trying to be. There is no zombie kids in this. Pause the trailer when they pull back the sheets on that "creature" in the bed and you'll see it's not a living or dead thing at all. There IS an army of elves, however, but they're not dirty old men, just naked for reasons the film will make abundantly clear. ;)

Yeah I was going by the shorts they released.

Yes, you're wrong, but only because the movie isn't a carbon copy expansion of the shorts. They changed things, rearranged things, explained things. Certain things you mention ARE in the feature film -- such as the hunters selling "Santas", but everything that precedes that development in the movie explains quite clearly that they're not really Santas at all, only under the spell of the "real" Santa Claus (the gigantic folkloric monster trapped in ice that I don't believe appears in the short films). In essence, they'll only become "Santas" in the perception of the countries that receive them (remember, this film sets up a sequel, possibly many), but they're not the real Santa Claus.

I've seen the film.

Santa isn't a vampire, he's just a huge demon-like creature.

That isn't a zombie child, it's a wooden dummy designed to not make parents realise that their children have been taken from bed (sort of like when people arrange pillows under the covers to look like someone is in bed).

The Santa-y things you see in the trailer, are in fact an army of elves.

I was so tempted to spell this out for people here (having seen it twice back months ago at TIFF), but it appears you've now taken care of it! :D Technically, these revelations come close to being spoilers, but since the others in this thread are insistent upon things they can only deduce (incorrectly) from the previews and shorts, it simply had to be clarified sooner or later.

Santa isn't a vampire in this, he's a demon.

Although I can't say I've never seen Santa as a Sith Lord.

I think Santa is actually supposed to be a gigantic Yule Goat, instead of a demon.
