Females
At the end I realized that there wasn't even a glimpse of a female in this movie which led me to think of other movies without any female characters. I am currently drawing a blank.

shareHint: Try thinking of war movies that stay in the combat zone all the way from beginning to end, like The Enemy Below.
shareWomen have usually not been allowed on the front lines, so it's fairly normal to not have women in war movies. It's a bit unusual to have a movie with children in it, but no women.
shareNo female characters at all . . . Lord of the Flies (first version at least).
share"Not allowed"? I would rather say, "not having to". Women aren't considered as disposable as men.
shareResevoir dogs
shareThe Thing-1982 version
shareResevoir Dogs first came to mind, however, I then realized that Mr. Pink in the flashback scene when he is running from the cops gets hit by a car driven by a woman. He then rips her out of the driver side window, unloads a full clip on the pursuing cops and steals her car. Which was incredibly badass.
share12 Angry Men.
share12 Angry Men is a legendary movie. There is, however, female characters in this film. I had to re-watch it to find them. In the very beginning there are women in the courthouse. Also at the very end when they are walking down the courthouse steps there is a woman in a white jacket walking on the sidewalk. I realize these women are very insignificant characters but they are in the movie nonetheless. I am talking about absolutely no females in an entire movie, not even a glimpse. I thought about the movie Buried with Ryan Reynolds, but there is a woman on the phone that he talks to, making her a character in the movie even though she isn't seen.
shareThere is mention of wives in this movie. They should have gone all the way and cut even that. In the beginning, I thought one of the boys was a girl.

There were a few women in Reservoir Dogs.
shareNo females in Resevoir dogs ??? And who shot Mr. Orange (Tim Roth)? There were a lot of females in Resevoir dogs compared to Rare Exports.
shareThere was women in Reservoir Dogs. Ving Rhames shoots one by mistake, just before Kathy Griffin try's to help him after Bruce Willis runs him over.

sharefamously, hunt for red october is w/out women. and, as aforementioned--the thing and 12 angry men. all of them--this one included==amazing films. that being said, i prefer having women of some sort in film..
shareThe Hunt for Red October has a few women - Jack's wife, Jack's daughter, the stewardess on the plane. It has no women in major roles, but it's not without them.
shareI'm pretty sure the one table in the restaurant had a couple, man and woman.
shareActually, there's at least one woman standing by one of the campfires when they gather near the beginning for the reindeer round up. Some of the others by the campfire could be women as well, but it's tough to tell.
shareYeah I think you are right. I re-watched it. At 14:39 the character stranding at the fire on the left with the tan jacket definitely looks like a woman. Great eye because that shot literally lasts for two seconds.

Best way to deal with trolls is to add them to your ignore list.
The kung fu masterpiece "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin," which I just recently watched, also contains no females. It struck me as odd at the time and caused me to ask myself the same question. Now I'm starting to think it probably isn't that much of a rarity.
shareSleuth.
As far as very recent films go, Tintin comes close, but doesn't qualify.
